Game-saving stops highlighted the past week of action in the league, which gets your vote?

As the race for the postseason continued to heat up in the past week, goalkeepers across the USL Championship rose to the occasion with some brilliant saves that helped preserve key results and points on the road to the 2022 USL Championship Playoffs. We’ve picked out five of the best for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week presented by Select, now you get to choose which one will take the honor.

Voting runs through Friday, September 9 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 26

Ben Lundt (PHX) - #PHXvRGV, 8/31/22: The former Championship Goalkeeper of the Year made a crucial stoppage-time save, getting down to deny Rio Grande Valley FC’s Christian Pinzon and preserve a victory for the hosts at Wild Horse Pass.

Tim Trilk (IND) - #DETvIND, 9/3/22: Trilk earned a second consecutive nomination for an excellent reflex stop that kept out a crisply struck finish by Detroit City FC’s Antoine Hoppenot at Keyworth Stadium, earning a shutout and point on the road for the Boys in Blue.

Carlos Saldaña (SAC) - #LOUvSAC, 9/3/22: Saldaña came through with a clutch close-range denial to keep out a sharp finish by Louisville City FC’s Wilson Harris from inside the six-yard area at Lynn Family Stadium.

Koke Vegas (SD) - #MBvSD, 9/3/22: The Spanish shot-stopper got a late look at a low shot by Monterey Bay F.C.’s Chase Boone as it came through traffic but still got down to his left to make an excellent low save at Cardinale Stadium.

Matt VanOekel (BHM) - #MIAvBHM, 9/3/22: The veteran goalkeeper made an outstanding one-on-one save to keep out a breakaway by Miami FC’s Romeo Parks at Riccardo Silva Stadium, earning Legion FC a point on the road.
