USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 22

Standout stops featured throughout a busy week of action, which one gets your vote?

Some familiar faces and new names made their mark between the sticks in the USL Championship over the past week of action, including a key stop to continue one of the longest shutout streaks in the league this season from Monterey Bay F.C.’s Antony Siaha. That’s among the five saves that have been selected for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week presented by Select, now you get to choose which one will take the honor.

Voting runs through Friday, August 12 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 22

Sean Lewis (IND) - #INDvPIT, 8/6/22: Lewis provided a firm save to palm over a powerfully struck shot by Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC’s Russell Cicerone from 20 yards during the contest at Michael A. Carroll Stadium.

Hugo Fauroux (CHS) - #LOUvCHS, 8/6/22: The French shot-stopper made an impressive save to turn away Louisville City FC’s Jorge Gonzalez after the attacking midfielder wove past a pair of defenders to set up a shot from 12 yards at Lynn Family Stadium.

Nathan Steinwascher (DET) - #TBRvDET, 8/6/22: The local standout made another excellent diving save to deny a well-struck volley by the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Yann Ekra that was arrowing toward the right corner at Al Lang Stadium.

Antony Siaha (MB) - #MBvELP, 8/6/22: Siaha maintained Monterey Bay’s current shutout streak with a great low save to deny El Paso Locomotive FC’s Luis Solignac after the Argentine controlled an initial effort eight yards from goal and tried to stab home at Cardinale Stadium.

Patrick Rakovsky (OC) - #OCvCOS, 8/6/22: The German goalkeeper got across quickly to tip wide a free kick toward the left corner of the net by El Salvador international Jairo Henriquez for the Switchbacks at Championship Soccer Stadium.
