The two youngest teams in the USL Championship will square off on Tuesday night to kick off Week 23 of the regular season, with the New York Red Bulls II having a chance to complete a season sweep on home turf against an Atlanta United 2 side that is winless in its last seven outings.

Here’s a look ahead to the action.

New York Red Bulls II vs. Atlanta United 2

Venue: MSU Soccer Park

The Lowdown: The New York Red Bulls II will look to break a three-game losing streak as they play host to Atlanta United 2 on Tuesday night, while having a chance to claim a second victory against their visitors this season. The Red Bulls II took a 1-0 victory in March as Jordan Adebayo-Smith scored a second-half goal to send the visitors to victory at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. New York has also won more recently than Atlanta, having taken a 1-0 win against Indy Eleven on July 15 for its first home win of the season, but is coming off a 2-1 defeat to Memphis 901 FC last Wednesday night that saw Adebayo-Smith score a late consolation for his team-leading fourth goal of the season. Atlanta, meanwhile, suffered a 6-0 defeat on Saturday night against Birmingham Legion FC to continue its recent downturn in form that has kept the side in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta will be hoping for a brighter display as it makes the trip north with only 10 games to play in the regular season.
