A busy week of action saw the USL Championship move close to 1,500 saves so far this season, and in Week 19 there were some big denials that keyed shutout performances by some well-known names within the league’s goalkeeping union. We’ve picked out five of the best stops for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week presented by Select, now you get to choose which one will take the honor.

Matt VanOekel (BHM) - #SACvBHM, 7/16/22: The 2021 Championship All-League selection made an outstanding low stop, reversing course to get down for a punched save on Sacramento Republic FC’s Keko as part of a three-save shutout at Heart Health Park.
Jordan Farr (SA) - #SAvATL, 7/16/22: Farr showed off his reflexes on his lone save of the night against Atlanta United 2, making a left-arm save to keep out Luke Brennan’s close-range redirection at the top of the six-yard area at Toyota Field.
Colin Shutler (OC) - #OCvMIA, 7/16/22: Shutler recorded his first shutout in the Championship with a two-save performance that included this outstanding fingertip denial of Miami FC’s Christian Sorto’s long-range effort to the top-left corner at Championship Soccer Stadium.
Tim Trilk (IND) - #NYvIND, 7/15/22: Trilk put in a sterling seven-save display on the road against the New York Red Bulls II for the Boys in Blue including a full-stretch stop to keep out a curling finish by Zach Ryan toward the bottom-right corner of the net at MSU Soccer Park.
Vicente Reyes (ATL) - #SAvATL, 7/16/22: The young Argentine produced an outstanding kick-save as part of a 10-save performance against San Antonio to deny Nicky Hernandez’s shot from the right side of the penalty area at Toyota Field.
