USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 16

A busy week of action delivered numerous brilliant goalkeeping moments, which one gets your vote?

It was a season record-setting Saturday night for goals in the USL Championship in Week 17, but the league’s goalkeepers delivered another big collection of saves throughout 14 games during the week to impress fans watching at venues and digitally. We’ve picked out five of the best for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week presented by Select, now you get to choose which one will take the honor.

Voting runs through Friday, July 1 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 16

Austin Wormell (TUL) - #MEMvTUL, 6/22/22: Wormell continued to shine after his introduction to the lineup this month, producing a fine save to deny Memphis’ Derek Dodson before recovering to sweep away any rebound opportunity.

Jordan Farr (SA) - #COSvSA, 6/24/22: Farr held firm to his near post as part of another road shutout for San Antonio to keep out a powerful shot by 2021 Championship MVP Hadji Barry from the right side of the penalty area.

Trey Muse (MEM) - #MEMvTUL, 6/22/22: Muse climbed toward 200 regular-season saves in the Championship for his career in a pair of shutouts in Week 17, including this full-stretch denial of FC Tulsa’s Bradley Bourgeois.

Ben Lundt (PHX) - #LVvPHX, 6/24/22: The 2020 Championship Goalkeeper of the Year produced an excellent fingertip save to keep out a long-range effort by Las Vegas’ Frank Daroma at Cashman Field.

Nathan Steinwascher (DET) - #MEMvDET, 6/25/22: Le Rouge’s shot-stopper showed off his reflexes once again to deny Memphis’ Phillip Goodrum after the forward had cut past his defender inside the penalty area to set up a clear look on goal.
