IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County SC announced on Thursday the club had acquired defender Ahmed Longmire on loan from Major League Soccer’s Nashville SC. Per club policy, terms and conditions of the deal will not be disclosed.

The 22-year-old was a standout at UCLA during his collegiate career, earning All-Pac 12 Conference Second Team honors during his time in Westwood as he made 20 appearances across two seasons for the Bruins. Longmire was subsequently selected with the 10th overall pick of the 2022 MLS SuperDraft by Nashville this past January.

Prior to transferring to UCLA for his junior season, Longmire spent two seasons at Utah Valley University. The Las Vegas native made 39 appearances for the Wolverines and in 2019 was voted to the All-Western Athletic Conference First Team and selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Far West Region Third Team.

Longmire joins Brian and Milan Iloski as the third player on Orange County’s roster to have previously attended UCLA, and will be available for selection when the side visits Louisville City FC on Saturday night at Lynn Family Stadium.
