USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 12

Alex Dixon (PIT) - #MIAvPIT, 5/28/22: The veteran winger gained possession on the left and shook free from his marker with a shimmy before unleashing a tremendous shot to the far corner at Riccardo Silva Stadium.

Alexander Dexter (LDN) - #LDNvCHS, 5/28/22: Making his professional debut, Dexter was the recipient of a brilliant piece of interplay between Jacob Greene and Skage Simonsen, whose backheel flick set up Dexter for a roofed finish at Segra Field.

Chase Boone (MB) - #MBvCOS, 5/28/22: Boone chased down a throw-in by Grant Robinson on the left before it crossed the goal line, cutting past a defender as he controlled, and then slotted home from an acute angle into the far corner at Cardinale Stadium.

Dylan Mares (ELP) - #LVvELP, 5/27/22: Down to 10 men, El Paso found a way to pull out a winner in Las Vegas as Josue Aaron Gomez sprang Eder Borelli down the left for a back-post cross that Ricardo Zacarias sent back into the path of Mares for a sharply volleyed finish.

Justin Portillo (NM) - #INDvNM, 5/28/22: Portillo lashed home a brilliant first-time strike from the top-left edge of the penalty area that swerved and clipped the underside of the crossbar on its way in during United’s victory on the road against Indy Eleven.
