CHICAGO – Young USL Championship standouts Joshua Wynder of Louisville City FC, and Kobi Henry and Korede Osundina of Orange County SC have been selected in the United States U-19 Men’s National Team announced on Friday that will compete in the Marbella Friendlies early next month.

The trio is joined by Loudoun United FC’s Kristian Fletcher, who earns his first call-up by Head Coach Marko Mitrović in this cycle after recently making his USL Championship debut against Detroit City FC on May 14.

The United States will face England on June 6 and Norway on June 9 as part of the event, with kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m. ET at the Marbella Football Center’s Dama de Noche pitches.

Wynder has established himself as one of the top young players in the USL Championship so far this season at LouCity, making nine appearances at center back for the perennial title contender so far this campaign. The 17-year-old is a Louisville native and signed professionally last year with the club’s First Team after coming through its Academy system. Wynder has recorded 16 clearances, 15 interceptions and five blocked shots this season while completing 84.5 percent of his passes as he returns to the U-19s for a second consecutive camp.

“I'm honored to receive another call up," said Wynder. “It'll be great to get experience playing against other national teams. I hope to continue doing my thing and represent the club well.”

Henry joins the squad having previously competed for the United States U-20 Men’s National Team while having helped Orange County lift the 2021 USL Championship title. The center back was called up by the United States Men’s National Team last December ahead of its international exhibition against Bosnia and Herzegovina, while this season he has recorded five appearances in the league, making 16 clearances and six interceptions.

Osundina arrived at defending USL Championship title winners Orange County SC this past offseason, turning pro with the club after previously coming through the Barca AZ Academy. The 18-year-old native of Illinois has made seven league appearances this season for Orange County and has notched two chances created while posting a 70% passing accuracy rate in his first season in the professional ranks.
