SEASIDE, Calif. – Monterey Bay F.C. announced on Friday the club had signed goalkeeper Antony Siaha for the remainder of the 2022 USL Championship season. Siaha will be available for selection in Monterey Bay’s contest against Louisville City FC on Saturday night at Lynn Family Stadium.
Siaha joins Monterey Bay having most recently competed for fellow Championship club San Diego Loyal SC, where he served as a back-up since joining prior to the 2021 campaign. The 24-year-old had also previously competed for the San Diego Sockers and 1904 FC after his college career.
“Antony came into the team on trial and he fit in very well,” said Monterey Bay F.C. Sporting Director and Head Coach Frank Yallop. “He has good size and shot-stopping ability, and we are happy to add him into the squad. Antony has big potential.”
Born in Yaounde, Cameroon, Siaha was raised in Tucson, Arizona where he won a state title at Tucson High in 2015 prior to his college career.
“I am feeling blessed for this opportunity, and I am happy to be playing under Frank Yallop,” said Siaha. “I am very excited to play in front of these amazing fans and I can’t wait to play in the new stadium as well.”
