USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month - April

Highlight reel finishes from ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 and Futbol Americas grabbed the spotlight in April, which gets your vote?

The second month of the 2022 USL Championship season saw more than 175 goals scored by clubs across the league, including outstanding finishes that landed on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 or on Futbol Americas over the course of April. The five winners of the Championship’s Goal of the Week awards for the past month are now in the running for the Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month, and you get to decide which stunning strike will take home the award.

Voting runs through Monday, May 9 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Month – April

Pato Botello Faz (DET) - #DETvMEM, 4/2/22: The Mexican forward controlled a well-delivered cross from the right from Rhys Williams and lashed home a finish into the top-right corner against Memphis at Keyworth Stadium.

Diego Luna (ELP) - #ELPvMB, 4/9/22: The United States U-20 international produced a thrilling moment, skipping past a challenge on the left before cutting into the penalty area and delivering a near-post finish to land on Futbol Americas’ Top 10 countdown.

Elliot Collier (SA) - #SAvELP, 4/16/22: The New Zealand international showed off some brilliant footwork to create space in the left side of the penalty area before sending his finish to the top-right corner of the net in SAFC’s Copa Tejas victory against El Paso.

Luis Seijas (PHX) - #PHXvMIA, 4/23/22: The Venezuelan playmaker delivered an outstanding finish from almost 30 yards, going bar-down to send Phoenix to a 2-1 victory against Miami FC at Wild Horse Pass and land on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 in the process.

Nick Moon (SD) - #TBRvSD, 4/30/22: Moon controlled smoothly on the left and then shook his marker with a stepover move to the inside, setting up a brilliantly curled finish from the top-left edge of the penalty area to the top-right corner of the net to earn the Futbol Americas’ seal of approval.
