USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 8

After a week that delivered a single-game high in saves this season and some key shutouts, which save gets your vote?

The past week in the USL Championship saw Las Vegas Lights FC’s Tomas Romero set a new 2022 season-high with a nine save performance, and some outstanding shutout displays from goalkeepers across the league that featured some brilliant saves. We’ve picked out five of the best stops for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week presented by Select, now you get to choose which one will take the honor.

Voting runs through Friday, May 6 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 8

Dallas Jaye (MB) - #SAvMB, 4/30/22: Jaye made an acrobatic save as he tipped a curling shot by San Antonio FC’s PC from 20 yards over the crossbar during the first half of his side’s visit to Toyota Field.

Eric Lopez (LA) - #LAvPHX, 5/1/22: Lopez posted a five-save shutout for Los Dos in its 3-0 win against Phoenix Rising FC including an excellent diving save to keep out a curling shot by Aodhan Quinn late in the first half.

Jeff Caldwell (COS) - #OAKvCOS, 4/30/22: Caldwell’s five-save shutout to earn Team of the Week honors was highlighted by a scrambling save early in the second half that saw him deny Oakland’s Edgardo Rito from close range.

Connor Sparrow (MIA) - #MEMvMIA, 4/30/22: Sparrow shifted well across his line to make a one-handed save on Memphis 901 FC’s Aaron Molloy as he fired a free kick toward the top-left corner of the net at AutoZone Park.

Joe Rice (LDN) - #LDNvELP, 4/30/22: Rice stood up well to keep out a close-range finish by El Paso Locomotive FC’s Diego Luna as he narrowed the angle on the U.S. U-20 international after a weaving run.
