Orange County SC forward Korede Osundina has been selected in the United States U-19 Men’s National Team squad that will convene in California this week, joining Louisville City FC’s Josh Wynder as the second representative from an independent USL Championship club in camp under new Head Coach Marko Mitrovic.

An offseason arrival for the defending USL Championship title holders, Osundina has made five appearances across all competitions for OCSC this campaign after joining the professional ranks from Barca AZ Academy. Osundina has recorded one chance created in 34 minutes as a substitute this campaign and featured in both of OCSC’s games in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

The 18-year-old becomes the second player called up from Orange County to the U.S. Youth National Team program since the program resumed activities late last year following the COVID-19 pandemic, joining United States U-20 international Kobi Henry.
