The Lowdown: Atlanta United 2 hosts its home opener against the New York Red Bulls II at Fifth Third Bank Stadium after narrowly falling in its first game of the season, a 1-0 defeat against Louisville City FC on Saturday night at Lynn Family Stadium. 18-year-old Atlanta goalkeeper Vicente Reyes had a solid showing in net, recording five saves, but the side was unable to generate much in attack beyond a big first-half chance for Jackson Conway. New York also had difficulty creating in a 2-0 defeat at Miami FC in its opening game and will be looking to bounce back ahead of its home opener on Saturday afternoon against a side it has gone 1-2-0 against on the road all-time.
