Forward Madison FC is pleased to partner with The Flock on a virtual artwork auction that will benefit several Madison charities this holiday season. The club and Flock will be auctioning off eight different murals created by local Madison street artist Triangulador from Friday, November 26th to Friday, December 3rd. These one-of-a-kind murals were commissioned by the club and The Flock at the beginning of the 2021 season as a way to bring life and energy into the home locker room at Breese Stevens Field.

The auction will benefit Centro Hispano, GSAFE, The River Food Pantry, and the Madison Public Library Foundation. Each charity is well established within the Madison community and each has had tangible impact in improving the lives of Madisonians. The club and Flock are excited to be able to partner in this initiative and to support the positive missions of each of these organizations. The auction will designate two pieces of artwork to each organization and the proceeds from the auction of those pieces will benefit that particular charity.

Triangulador’s work is a staple of Madison. His murals and projects can be seen all over the community and reflect the excitement and vibrancy of the city. Consistent with Triangulador’s style of using recycled and discarded items as a medium, the eight murals were made on recycled stadium signage. These pieces are lightweight but large in scale, with each measuring approximately 4ft x 8 ft. All eight of the murals were installed in the home locker room for the duration of the season and have minor imperfections making them truly unique. The murals would make great additions to any game room, classroom, office, or community center as they capture the energy of Forward Madison and the greater community.

“It is exciting to see this project come full circle,” said Forward Madison FC Community Engagement Manager, Connor Tobin, “From the start of discussions between the club, the Flock, and Triangulador, we wanted to do something that was going to both beautify the locker room and connect the players to the greater community. Auctioning off these pieces of art to benefit these outstanding charities provides a tangible and meaningful connection to our Madison community.”

The fully virtual auction will be updated throughout the weeklong timeframe to reflect the most current bid on each piece. We ask fans to increase bids by a minimum of $5. Fans will have the chance to place bids until Friday, December 3rd at 5pm CT, all winning bids at the time of closing will be collected after close and are final.
