The final month of the 2021 USL Championship regular season saw playoff races and battles for position play out with some of the league’s goalkeepers featuring in key roles in their overall performances, and with outstanding saves to help their sides to success. Now the five winners of the past month’s Save of the Week award have advanced, and you get to vote for the one that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Month award.
Voting will continue through 12 p.m. ET on Monday, November 8.
Andre Rawls (PHX) - #OCvPHX, 10/2/21: Andre Rawls made a pair of spectacular saves to keep out a headed effort by Orange County SC’s Dillon Powers, and then recovered to keep out a rebound chance by Michael Orozco as part of a shutout victory on the road.
Joe Kuzminsky (CHS) - #TBRvCHS, 10/7/21: September’s Save of the Month winner produced another highlight-reel stop to keep out Tampa Bay captain Sebastian Guenzatti’s header off a set piece to turn the ball over the crossbar.
Jordan Farr (IND) - #INDvLOU, 10/13/21: Jordan Farr earned Team of the Week honors in Week 26 for his five-save shutout against LIPAFC rival Louisville City FC for Indy with the highlight being a one-handed reflex save to keep out a close-range header by LouCity’s Jorge Gonzalez in the second half.
Jordan Farr (IND) - #INDvTUL, 10/23/21: Jordan Farr took a second consecutive weekly award in Week 27 for a brilliant reflex save to keep out a close-range header by FC Tulsa’s Bradley Bourgeois at Michael A. Carroll Stadium.
Austin Wormell (TUL) - #MEMvTUL, 10/27/21: The Tulsa native pulled off a big one-on-one save to keep out Memphis 901 FC’s Alan Winn on a close-range opportunity from the left side of the penalty area at AutoZone Park.
