LEESBURG, Va. – Loudoun United FC and the New York Red Bulls II will wrap up the regular season on Saturday afternoon at Segra Field with both hoping to end on a high note with the Red Bulls II entering having held the edge between the two clubs so far this season. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.

@LoudounUnitedFC (4-24-3, 15pts) suffered a second consecutive 1-0 defeat on Wednesday night against the Charlotte Independence at American Legion Memorial Stadium. The visitors were able to find some chances to level in the second half after the Independence had taken the lead, but for a second consecutive outing were held scoreless by a playoff-bound squad. United has now lost five consecutive games since a 3-2 win against Miami FC on October 10 and has yet to take victory against the Red Bulls II in their three prior meetings this campaign. The hosts will be looking for a positive final display from the likes of Ted Ku-DiPietro, Jeremy Garay and Jovanny Bolivar to try and grab a final win this season on home turf.

@NYRBII (6-19-7, 25pts) fell 2-0 to Miami FC on Sunday evening to break a two-game undefeated run that had continued a solid run of late-season form for the club. In addition to a recent victory against Loudoun in their home finale on October 20, the Red Bulls II earned a draw on the road against the Atlantic Division-leading Tampa Bay Rowdies and victories against both the Charleston Battery and Hartford Athletic since the start of September. The side has been led in attack by Omar Sowe with seven goals, while Jake LaCava has tallied six times and Jeremy Rafanello has five goals and six assists. The standout in recent weeks, however, has been goalkeeper AJ Marcucci, who has recorded 63 saves and two of the three shutouts by the side this season, while also recording three penalty kick saves to sit second in the league in that category.
