The thrills of the penultimate week of the playoff race in the USL Championship’s regular season were matched by the quality of the finishing on display throughout the week as a pair of outstanding tallies found their way on to ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 over the weekend. We’ve picked five of the best, now you get to decide which one will get the honor of being the Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week, presented by Select.

Voting runs through Thursday, October 28 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 27

Josue Aaron Gomez (ELP) - #ELPvOKC, 10/24/21: The Mexican forward recorded three goals across the week, with this second against OKC Energy FC on Sunday night topping the list as he lashed home a strike from 16 yards into the top-left corner of the net from the left side of the penalty area.

Joel Johnson (CLT) - #HFDvCLT, 10/22/21: The Liberian international produced another sensational finish for his second goal in the Championship, cutting inside from the right and delivering a curled finish to the far post from the top-right corner of the penalty area at Dillon Stadium.

Cameron Lancaster (LOU) - #LOUvMEM, 10/23/21: The former Golden Boot winner produced a remarkable hit from 40 yards that handcuffed the goalkeeper as it knuckled through the air and landed at No. 10 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 on Saturday night.

Peter-Lee Vassell (IND) - #INDvTUL, 10/23/21: The Jamaican international got time and space 25 yards from goal outside the top-left edge of the penalty area and delivered an arrow to the top-right corner of the net that left the goalkeeper little chance in Indy’s home finale at The Mike.

Akeem Ward (OAK) - #SDvOAK, 10/24/21: The defender produced a remarkable piece of skill to control in traffic and then flick the ball over his marker’s head in the left side of the penalty area before driving home a left-footed volley that got the No. 7 spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10 on Sunday night.
