TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced today that Austin Bold FC defender Jorge Troncoso has been suspended two additional games for violent conduct following an Independent Discipline Panel review of an incident during the club’s Oct. 16 match against Real Monarchs SLC.

After Austin’s third goal in the 85th minute, a goalmouth altercation prompted the referee to show red cards to Troncoso and Monarchs goalkeeper Fernando Delgado, both of which carry an automatic one-game suspension. Delgado will serve his suspension during the Monarchs’ contest on Friday against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. Troncoso is suspended for Austin’s three remaining regular season matches: Oct. 20 at El Paso Locomotive FC, Oct. 23 at San Antonio FC, and Oct. 30 vs. the Charlotte Independence.
