USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 25

Evan Louro (TBR) - #TBRvCHS, 10/7/21: The Championship’s Golden Glove leader made an outstanding save to keep out a powerful header by the Charleston Battery’s Claudio Repetto from eight yards out at Al Lang Stadium.

Joe Kuzminsky (CHS) - #TBRvCHS, 10/7/21: September’s Save of the Month winner produced another highlight-reel stop to keep out Tampa Bay captain Sebastian Guenzatti’s header off a set piece to turn the ball over the crossbar.

AJ Marcucci (NY) - #CLTvNY, 10/9/21: The first-year pro not only made a good low save on Kevin Riascos’ penalty kick for the Charlotte Independence, but then followed up to block the rebound and kick the third chance over the crossbar in a remarkable sequence.

Kendall McIntosh (SKC) - #LOUvSKC, 10/9/21: Kendall McIntosh showed his quickness in getting across to make a diving stop on a shot by LouCity’s Brian Ownby before recovering to turn away a rebound chance from a tight angle from Cameron Lancaster.

Danny Vitiello (PIT) - #PITvTBR, 10/10/21: The 2020 Golden Glove winner produced maybe the biggest moment of Pittsburgh’s 2-0 win against Tampa Bay on Sunday night as he denied the Rowdies’ Leo Fernandes from the penalty spot to keep the hosts ahead early in the second half.
