AUSTIN, Texas – Austin Bold FC will begin a new era under Head Coach Ryan Thompson on Tuesday night as the club’s former assistant takes charge for its Copa Tejas clash with San Antonio FC at Bold Stadium with the two teams separated by five points in the Mountain Division standings. San Antonio is undefeated in its past four outings overall, with Saturday’s result ending a three-game winning streak, as the side has broken out of a downturn in form in early August to drive up from sixth place in the standings not long ago. At the middle of that improvement has been the side’s attack, which has scored eight goals in the past four games, with Fogaca leading the club with eight goals this season. The Brazilian has received support from Marcus Epps, who has notched four goals and one assist, and Academy graduate Jose Gallegos, who has three goals and three assists, but one of the notable figures for the side has been Cam Lindley, who ranks tied for second in the Championship with 45 chances created while appearing in every game of the season so far.
