USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 17

Reflex saves and tremendous recoveries were on display during the past week, which one gets your vote?

A packed slate in Week 17 resulted in a lot of high-quality action from the goalkeepers across the USL Championship, who combined for 100 saves and six shutouts across the week’s action. We’ve picked out five of the best for this week’s Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week award, now you get to choose which one will take the honor.

Voting runs through Friday, August 20 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 17

Austin Pack (CLT) - #NYvCLT, 8/10/21: Austin Pack earned a second consecutive nomination for an outstanding one-handed save to deny the New York Red Bulls II’s Samuel Williams, who fired a curling shot to the top-right corner of the net off a training ground free kick routine from 25 yards.

Brady Scott (MEM) - #MEMvBHM, 8/14/21: The U.S. youth international got down well to turn away a low shot to the left corner by Birmingham Legion FC’s leading scorer Neco Brett onto the post and away for a corner kick.

CJ Cochran (OKC) - #ATLvOKC, 8/11/21: The veteran shot-stopper showed off his reflexes to turn away a powerful header by Atlanta United 2’s Macky Diop from close to the top of the six-yard area at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Jeff Caldwell (HFD) - #TBRvHFD, 8/13/21: The Championship’s saves leader made five stops against the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Friday night including a tipped save to keep out a header by Forrest Lasso that took a large hop off the turf at Al Lang Stadium.

Patrick Rakovsky (OC) - #PHXvOC, 8/14/21: Patrick Rakovsky put on a stellar display for OCSC against Phoenix Rising FC that was highlighted by an outstanding recovery to swat away a chipped finish by Aodhan Quinn to send the ball just wide of the left post.
