USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 13

The past week produced some game-saving stops across the league, which one gets your vote?

A bumper week of 16 games produced almost 100 saves across the Championship in Week 13, including some that proved vital to earning results in the race for the 2021 USL Championship Playoffs. We’ve picked out five of the best, now you get to decide which one will get the honor of being the Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week.

Voting runs through Friday, July 23 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 13

Jeff Caldwell (HFD) - #TBRvHFD, 7/13/21: Jeff Caldwell showed off his reflexes to turn away a free header by the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Sebastian Guenzatti as part of a five-save shutout in Hartford’s 1-0 win at Al Lang Stadium.

Matt Cardone (SA) - #COSvSA, 7/17/21: Earning Team of the Week honors for his eight-save performance in Colorado Springs last Saturday, Matt Cardone produced an outstanding denial of the Switchbacks’ Beverly Makangila late in the first half.

Jermaine Fordah (LDN) - #PITvLDN, 7/17/21: The young English goalkeeper was at his sharpest to keep out a bending finish by Riverhounds SC’s Alex Dixon to keep Loudoun within a goal late on at Highmark Stadium last Saturday night.

Ben Beaury (ELP) - #ELPvLV, 7/17/21: Ben Beaury only had to make two saves to become the third Locomotive FC goalkeeper to record a shutout this season but had to keep the game scoreless with a diving stop on Julian Gaines’ header early in the second half before the hosts took the lead.

Jeffrey Dewsnup (SLC) - #ATXvSLC, 7/18/21: The 17-year-old showed excellent composure after Bold FC’s Sean Okoli hit the crossbar with a header to recover and deny the rebound volley by Fabien Garcia as part of his four-save performance.
