PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC returns to Highmark Stadium on Saturday night as it plays host to Loudoun United FC in the third meeting of the season between the clubs, with the Hounds hoping to remain in touch with Atlantic Division leader the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

@RiverhoundsSC (6-4-3, 21pts) rallied late to earn a 1-1 draw with the Charleston Battery in its most recent outing on July 7 as Tommy Williamson scored with five minutes to go at Patriots Point to earn the visitors a result. The Hounds are now three points behind the Rowdies for first place in the Atlantic Division while having played one game more, and the side will be looking to get back on a winning track at Highmark where it has gone just 2-2-1 so far this season. Those two wins at home have come in the club’s past two outings, but they were separated by a 2-1 defeat by Loudoun that evened the season series between the clubs on June 30 and served as United’s second win of the season.

@LoudounUnitedFC (2-9-0, 6pts) saw its attack produce the finishing it has lacked most of the year in that win against the Hounds but has since reverted back to its wayward ways in front of goal in back-to-back defeats at home over the past two weekends. Loudoun fell 4-1 to Miami FC last Sunday evening as Darluis Paz missed from the penalty spot with a chance to level the score in the first half before the visitors pulled away before Owen Walz’s first professional goal arrived as a consolation with 15 minutes to go. Loudoun sits with a -9.95xG differential between its goals scored (10) and Expected Goals (19.95) this season, by far the widest margin in the league as the club’s attack has struggled to capitalize on the chances it has created.
