TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced today the contest between Birmingham Legion FC and Atlanta United 2 that was abandoned prior to completing on June 30 due to heavy rain and lightning in the vicinity of BBVA Field had been rescheduled. The teams will now meet on Wednesday, August 4 with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
Under USL Championship rules, the game will be replayed in full from the opening kickoff.
Legion FC will next be in action on Saturday, July 24 as it visits Indy Eleven at Michael A. Carroll Stadium at 7 p.m. ET. Atlanta will be in action this Saturday night as it visits Louisville City FC at Lynn Family Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET.
