The month of June saw goalkeepers across the USL Championship continue to make their mark as the season entered its second quarter, with almost 450 saves and more than 30 shutouts being recorded across the month’s 30 days. We’ve selected five of the best saves in June, now you get to vote for the one that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Month award.

Matt VanOekel (BHM) - #BHMvTUL, 6/6/21: Matt VanOekel continued his strong start to the season with a diving save to keep out a free kick to the top-left corner of the net by Tulsa’s Dario Suarez that preserved victory for Legion FC late at BBVA Field.
Keegan Meyer (LDN) - #TBRvLDN, 6/11/21: Keegan Meyer showed off his reflexes to keep out a powerful header by Tampa Bay’s Sebastian Guenzatti on Friday night, going back to the left corner of the net to turn the effort wide.
Mark Segbers (MEM) - #MEMvATL, 6/16/21: Recruited to be an emergency goalkeeper in the 90th minute of his side’s game with Atlanta United 2, Mark Segbers made a crucial point-black save to preserve his side’s first victory in a home opener in its history.
Brooks Thompson (SKC) - #MEMvSKC, 6/26/21: 19-year-old Brooks Thompson showed off his reflexes with a one-handed save that denied Memphis 901 FC’s Michael Salazar as SKC II claimed a victory on the road at AutoZone Park.
Jermaine Fordah (LDN) - #HFDvLDN, 6/19/21: Moving across his goal quickly to track a deep cross from the right side, Jermaine Fordah tipped a point-blank header by Hartford’s Preston Tabort Etaka over the crossbar in impressive fashion at Dillon Stadium.
