OAKLAND, Calif. – The USL Championship in consultation with the Professional Referee Organization tonight announced that Oakland Roots SC’s match against Sacramento Republic FC has been postponed due to an unplayable field surface. The match, which was originally scheduled for Saturday night, will be scheduled for a later date which will be announced in the coming days.
Oakland Roots SC will continue its inaugural season in the Championship when it hosts Austin Bold FC on Saturday, June 26 at 8:30 p.m. ET, while Sacramento Republic FC hosts Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, June 26 at 8 p.m. ET to celebrate Pride Night at the newly announced Heart Health Park.
