TULSA, Okla. – FC Tulsa and Louisville City FC will meet for the first time since their inaugural seasons in 2015 on Saturday night at ONEOK Field with both clubs looking to build on victories on Wednesday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.

@FCTulsa (4-3-0, 12pts) got back into the win column with a 4-3 victory against Sporting Kansas City II on Wednesday as Rodrigo da Costa notched a goal and assist before the hosts had to withstand a strong late comeback by Sporting to hold onto all three points. Tulsa also got goals from Dario Suarez and Marlon to turn around an early deficit, while Joaquin Rivas notched his fifth goal of the season in his return to action off the substitutes bench after helping El Salvador reach the final stage of FIFA 2022 World Cup Qualifying over the past two weeks. Tulsa has claimed victory in both of its home contests so far this season, giving the side a run of five consecutive home wins overall dating back to the 2020 season, while its overall home undefeated streak is now at seven games, with its last loss at ONEOK Field having come on August 29, 2020 to SKC II.

@LouCityFC (4-2-1, 13pts) moved within three points of first place in the Central Division on Wednesday, meanwhile, as it took a 2-0 victory against division-leader Birmingham Legion FC in front of almost 10,000 fans at Lynn Family Stadium. A first-half penalty kick by Cameron Lancaster opened the scoring before Jonathan Gomez made his presence known in his second game back with the side after training with Mexico’s Senior National Team in Dallas, providing a fine assist to set up Napo Matsoso for a goal early in the second half. The 17-year-old Gomez earned Man of the Match honors, and has shown his quality consistently this season, leading LouCity with 14 interceptions while winning 6 of 7 tackles and 34 of 58 duels, adding another strong piece to a potent Louisville lineup.
