USL Championship Fans' Choice Save of the Week - Week 8

A big week of action produced a collection of top-shelf saves, which one gets your vote?

The past weekend of action brought the 50th shutout of the 2021 USL Championship season, and with it another collection of outstanding saves from the league’s goalkeepers. We’ve picked out five of the best saves, now you get to decide which one will get the honor of being the Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week.

Voting runs through Friday, June 18 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 8

Jeff Caldwell (HFD) - #CLTvHFD, 6/13/21: Jeff Caldwell made a perfect read on a penalty kick by the Charlotte Independence’s Irvin Parra that allowed him to save and cover the shot to the bottom-left corner of the net.

Gavin Krenecki (SKC) - #ATLvSKC, 6/9/21: Atlanta United 2 went for a training ground corner kick that set up Chris Allan for an open shot at the top of the penalty area, but Gavin Krenecki was up to the challenge and made a fine save to turn it wide.

Keegan Meyer (LDN) - #TBRvLDN, 6/11/21: Keegan Meyer showed off his reflexes to keep out a powerful header by Tampa Bay’s Sebastian Guenzatti on Friday night, going back to the left corner of the net to turn the effort wide.

Abraham Romero (OC) - #OCvOAK, 6/12/21: Making his debut for Orange County, Abraham Romero produced an excellent save to deny Oakland’s Jeremy Bokila after the forward had created space for a shot in the center of the penalty area.

Ben Lundt (PHX) - #PHXvTAC 6/12/21: Ben Lundt earned Championship Team of the Week honors for his eight-save shutout against Tacoma that included this diving, one-handed save that kept out Samuel Adeniran’s shot to the left corner.
