TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced today the nationally televised contest between San Diego Loyal SC and Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday, July 3 would now kick off at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT at Torero Stadium. The game will air live on ESPN2.
The contest will be the first between San Diego and Sacramento this season after the sides played to a draw in their first meeting all-time on August 3, 2020.
San Diego will continue its regular season this Saturday night as it visits Phoenix Rising FC at Wild Horse Pass for a 10:30 p.m. ET kickoff, while Sacramento will also be in action as it plays host to Orange County SC at Heart Health Park at 11 p.m. ET.
