USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month – April/May

The past month brought a collection of outstanding finishes, which one gets your vote?

There were almost 175 goals scored across the Championship in the opening weeks of the 2021 season, including some standout moments that lit up the action as fans returned to stadiums across the country. We’ve selected five of the best, now you get to vote for the goal that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month award.

Voting will continue through 12 p.m. ET on Monday, June 7.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month Finalists – April/May

Joaquin Rivas (TUL) - #OKCvTUL, 4/24/21: El Salvador international Joaquin Rivas brought the away fans out of their seats with a beautiful looping finish from the left side of the penalty area into the right corner of the net in Tulsa’s season-opening victory.

Santi Moar (PHX) - #PHXvOAK, 5/8/21: A perfectly delivered ball over the top by James Musa released Santi Moar down the left flank, and the Spaniard slipped his finish through the goalkeeper’s legs in Phoenix’s win against Oakland.

Amando Moreno (NM) - #NMvATX, 5/15/21: Amando Moreno made the most of a pin-point cross by Andrew Tinari to head home and cap New Mexico’s victory in its return to Isotopes Park on Saturday night.

Daniel Bruce (NM) - #COSvNM, 5/21/21: Daniel Bruce provided the exclamation point for New Mexico’s 3-1 road win against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Friday night with a drive from 20 yards that picked out the top-right corner.

Juan Carlos Azocar (RGV) - #SAvRGV, 5/29/21: Juan Carlos Azocar produced a moment of brilliance with a bicycle kick finish off Adrian Diz Pe’s knockdown with a minute to go in the Toros’ 1-1 draw against San Antonio FC on Saturday night.
