USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 6

Ten shutouts in the past week included some spectacular saves, which one gets your vote?

A busy week of USL Championship action produced some outstanding goalkeeping performances, which included a season-high 10 shutouts across the 13 contests in the league and some superb saves. We’ve picked out five of the best, now you get to decide which one will get the honor of being the Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week.

Voting runs through Friday, June 4 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 6

Matt Cardone (SA) - #SAvRGV, 5/29/21: Nominated for a second consecutive week, Matt Cardone produced an excellent one-on-one save to deny Rio Grande Valley FC’s Baboucarr Nije after he had stolen possession from the SAFC defense.

Tyler Deric (RGV) - #SAvRGV, 5/29/21: Tyler Deric had a nine-save performance against San Antonio including this diving stop to keep out a long-range effort from Nathan Fogaca in the first half at Toyota Field.

John Berner (MEM) - #OKCvMEM, 5/29/21: John Berner held his position well to create a large barrier for OKC Energy FC’s Frank Lopez to try and beat from a tight angle as part of his shutout performance at Taft Stadium.

Alex Rando (LV) - #SDvLV, 5/29/21: Alex Rando also earned nomination for a second consecutive week after a stretching save to keep out a header by San Diego Loyal SC’s Jack Blake at Torero Stadium.

John Pulskamp (SKC) - #SKCvELP 5/30/21: John Pulskamp’s six-save shutout earned him Championship Team of the Week honors and included this diving save to keep out a header by El Paso Locomotive FC’s Josue Aaron Gomez.
