USL Championship Fans' Choice Goal of the Week - Week 6

A potential Goal of the Year candidate highlights this week’s collection, which one gets your vote?

One of the likely top highlights of the 2021 Championship campaign headlined another collection of high-quality finishes in Week 6 of the regular season, with Juan Azocar’s late equalizer for Rio Grande Valley FC one of the more dramatic in the league history. That and four other goals are nominated, now you get to decide which one will get the honor of bring the Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week, presented by Select.

Voting runs through Thursday, June 3 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 6

Juan Azocar (RGV) - #SAvRGV, 5/29/21: Juan Azocar produced a moment of brilliance with a bicycle kick finish off Adrian Diz Pe’s knockdown with a minute to go in the Toros’ 1-1 draw against San Antonio FC on Saturday night.

Jake Areman (CLT) - #MIAvCLT, 5/29/21: Jake Areman pulled the Independence level early in the second half at FIU Stadium with a pin-point free kick that caromed off the right post and into the back of the net.

Jovanny Bolivar (LDN) - #NMvLDN, 5/29/21: Jonny Bolivar opened his account for Loudoun in spectacular fashion with a first-time shot from the top of the penalty area that left the goalkeeper little chance as it picked out the top-right corner.

Bruno Lapa (BHM) - #BHMvOKC, 5/26/21: A smart team move down the right side saw Bruno Lapa find Jonathan Dean first before making a run into the penalty area where JJ Williams’ dummy set up the Brazilian for a sweet first-time finish.

Russell Cicerone (PIT) - #NYvPIT, 5/28/21: A clever piece of interplay at the top of the penalty area highlighted by a back-heel assist from Alex Dixon set up Russell Cicerone for a powerful finish to cap the Hounds’ victory against the Red Bulls II.
