Phoenix returns home looking to rebound at Wild Horse Pass against winless Lights FC

Phoenix Rising FC's James Musa and Las Vegas Lights FC's CC Uche are set to man their respective back lines when the sides meet on Saturday night at Wild Horse Pass.

PHOENIX – Phoenix Rising FC returns home looking to rebound from its first defeat of the season when it plays host to Las Vegas Lights FC on Saturday night at the Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex at Wild Horse Pass. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET.

@PHXRisingFC (2-1-0, 6pts) fell for the first time this season last Saturday night to defending Eastern Conference Title holder the Tampa Bay Rowdies 2-1 at Al Lang Stadium as Santi Moar’s goal wasn’t enough to spark a comeback from a two-goal deficit. Phoenix has found its new home at Wild Horse Pass a happy hunting ground so far, however, racking up seven goals between victories against San Diego Loyal SC and Oakland Roots SC. Rising FC has taken victory in all three prior meetings with Las Vegas on its home turf, a trend it will be looking to continue on Saturday.

@LVLightsFC (0-2-0, 0pts) has struggled defensively in its opening two games of the season, meanwhile, conceding eight goals against the LA Galaxy II and Sacramento Republic FC. The club’s underlying numbers offer some glimpse of hope, though, with Las Vegas’ attack having recorded 19 shots overall and a 2.83 Expected Goals mark despite finding the net just once in the two outings. If players like Danny Musovski start finding their range, a turnaround could be on the cards for Las Vegas.
