HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford Athletic announced on Thursday the club had signed Cameroonian forward Tabort Etaka Preston, pending league and federation approval.

Preston’s arrives in Hartford with prior Championship experience, having featured for Las Vegas Lights FC during the 2019 campaign. In 31 league appearances with Las Vegas, the 22-year-old scored eight goals and recorded three assists and added 34 key passes over the course of the season.

“Preston has an x-factor. He’s an exciting attacking player who will be a fan favorite,” said Hartford Head Coach Harry Watling. “Adding goals and assists to the roster was key and in Preston, I trust his ability to do exactly that.”
