INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven will take to the field in the 2021 USL Championship season with fresh on-field look.
Indiana’s Team announced on Friday a comprehensive partnership with PUMA that will see the iconic global sports brand serve as the Official Soccer Apparel Partner for the Boys in Blue. The club also announced fans can secure fresh gear featuring Indy Eleven’s popular look and PUMA’s distinctive cat logo online at shop.indyeleven.com and soccer.com.
“As we spoke with PUMA more and more, it was clear they were willing to be a true partner that would showcase the Indy Eleven brand national and internationally in a truly collaborative fashion,” said Greg Stremlaw, Indy Eleven President & Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to serving as a hub for PUMA and its massive global brand in America’s premier sports market and throughout the Midwest.”
Additional retail merchandise – including new Indy Eleven primary and secondary jerseys – will be rolled out in the coming weeks as the club approaches its 2021 USL Championship season beginning this spring. An additional third jersey and special promotions around Indianapolis’s racing history and culture will also be unveiled in May.
Through the partnership, the Indy Eleven players, coaches, and staff will be decked out in official PUMA merchandise. Additional components of this comprehensive partnership include support provided to Indy Eleven’s newly launched Youth Soccer Program via myriad co-branded festival materials, in-venue promotional giveaways for ticket holders at Carroll Stadium, collaborative social and digital media promotions, in-stadium branding presence for PUMA, and multiple additional strategic initiatives.
“PUMA is excited to become the Official Soccer Apparel Partner for Indy Eleven,” said Allison Giorgio, Vice President of Marketing at PUMA North America. “They share our same spirit, commitment and passion within soccer, and we are proud to support their team, fans and community.”
Indy Eleven joins some of the soccer world’s most noteworthy teams in the PUMA family, which includes the Premier League’s Manchester City and Newcastle United, the Bundesliga’s Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach, Serie A’s AC Milan, and Ligue 1’s Olympique de Marseille. The Boys in Blue are the third Championship team to partner with Puma, joining New Mexico United and Oakland Roots SC.
Last year, PUMA brought its innovative and unique style to the United Soccer League, becoming the official apparel partner of the USL league office and the national partner for the new USL Academy League.
