USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 12

A thrilling week produced a sensational individual display and some standout stops, which one gets your vote?

The past week of action saw a piece of Championship history as Loudoun United FC’s Simon Lefebvre tied the league record with 13 saves in a game, and he’s among the shot-stoppers to have earned a spot among the best saves from the past week. We’ve picked out five of the best, now you get to select which one will be the USL League One Fans’ Choice Save of the Week.

Voting runs through Friday, September 18 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 12

Matthew Freese (PHI) - #NYvPHI, 9/9/20: Freese got down quickly to his left to keep out a penalty kick by the New York Red Bulls II’s Kyle Zajec and controlled so there would be no rebound opportunity at MSU Soccer Park.

Kyle Morton (STL) - #LOUvSTL, 9/12/20: Morton produced an outstanding reflex stop to keep out a close-range finish by Louisville City FC’s Napo Matsoso, tipping the ball over the crossbar at Lynn Family Stadium.

Rafael Diaz (SAC) - #SACvOC, 9/9/20: Diaz got down well to his left to make a one-handed save on a shot by Orange County SC’s Darwin Jones that split two defenders from just inside the penalty area at Papa Murphy’s Park.

Simon Lefebvre (LDN) - #LDNvPHI, 9/12/20: Lefebvre made a diving save to keep out a turning shot by the Philadelphia Union II’s Anges Bohui late in the first half, part of Lefebvre’s record-tying night at Segra Field.

Sean Lewis (TUL) - #TULvOKC, 9/12/20: Lewis sprang to his right to make a one-handed save that denied OKC Energy FC’s Atiba Harris on a header that was heading to the top-left corner of the net at ONEOK Field.
