MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC announced on Wednesday the club had re-signed defender Jacob Hauser-Ramsey for the remainder of the 2020 USL Championship season.
The 42nd overall pick in the 2019 MLS Super Draft, Hauser-Ramsey made 14 appearances for Memphis in the 2019 season, totaling 964 minutes. A physical central defender, Hauser-Ramsey made 13 tackles and 48 clearances.
“[Hauser-Ramsey] is very familiar, playing with us last year, and we are delighted to have him back,” said Memphis Head Coach Tim Mulqueen. “He is a physical player who pairs well with the defenders we have now. We expect him to help us out a lot in this last month of the season.”
Hauser-Ramsey joins Memphis as it prepares for a three-match road trip starting on Thursday night against North Carolina FC. Memphis currently sits in fourth place within Group G, 11 points out of playoff contention.
