The past month of Championship action saw more than 575 saves and 44 shutouts recorded by the league’s goalkeepers, including a landmark moment for Indy Eleven’s Evan Newton as he reached 50 regular season shutouts for his career. We’ve selected six of the best saves from August, now you get to vote for the one that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Month award.

Eric Dick (PHX) - #PHXvELP, 8/1/20: The Sporting Kansas City loanee maintained Rising FC’s lead late with an outstanding double-save to turn away El Paso Locomotive FC’s Marios Lomis from close range.
Phil Breno (CHS) - #CLTvCHS, 8/8/20: Breno got down well to parry away a good header by the Charlotte Independence’s Aaron Maund to safety as part of a four-save performance in the 1-1 draw at the Sportsplex at Matthews.
Rafael Diaz (SAC) - #RNOvSAC, 8/12/20: Diaz came up big to the tune of a five-save shutout in the Donner Pass Derby that featured a close-range save from Corey Hertzog and follow-up from Christiano Francois in a good double-stop.
Cody Mizell (NM) - #SLCvNM, 8/19/20: Mizell punched a curling effort by Real Monarchs SLC’s Sam Brown high into the air and then gathered the rebound as part of a shutout last Wednesday night in Utah.
Ford Parker (BHM) - #CLTvBHM, 8/29/20: Parker produced a great fingertip stop to keep out a flicked header by the Charlotte Independence’s Hugh Roberts off a set piece at the Sportsplex at Matthews.
Colin Miller (LDN) - #LDNvNY, 8/29/20: Miller made a big diving save to keep out a strike by New York’s John Tolkin, and then recovered to make another save on Caden Clark as part of his nine-save performance at Segra Field.
