MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC announced on Thursday it had acquired midfielder Tommy McCabe on loan from FC Cincinnati of Major League Soccer for the remainder of the 2020 USL Championship season.

“We are excited to bring him to Memphis, his ability to distribute the ball from midfield will help create chances,” said 901 FC Head Coach Tim Mulqueen. “His work ethic and his experience in the MLS will be beneficial to us on both sides of the ball.”

McCabe brings prior Championship experience with him to Memphis. A native of South Orange, N.J., McCabe played on loan with North Carolina FC on loan and scored a pair of goals in nine league appearances before being recalled by FC Cincinnati in May.
