Red Bulls II clash with Pittsburgh, Lights FC contest against San Diego rescheduled

TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced today that the previously scheduled match between New York Red Bulls II and Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC has been rescheduled for September 5, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. ET at Red Bull Arena.

Red Bulls II currently sit third in Group F, chasing Riverhounds SC in first, with the pair of perennial playoff conterns aiming to finish in the top two of their group in order to qualify for the 2020 USL Championship Playoffs in October.

In addition, the previously scheduled match between Las Vegas Lights FC and San Diego Loyal SC has been rescheduled for September 2, with kickoff set for 10:30 p.m. ET / 7:30 p.m. PT.

Proceeding with an abundance of caution, the postponement comes after the August 8th announcement that a covered person in the Las Vegas Lights FC organization tested positive for COVID-19. As stated previously, the individual was immediately isolated at home, remains in good spirits under the care of team physicians.
