USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 7

Eric De La Cerda (RNO) - #RNOvTAC, 8/8/20: De La Cerda read the penalty kick by Tacoma Defiance’s Alec Diaz correctly and made a low, diving save to his right that offered no rebound chance in a 2-1 victory for the hosts at Greater Nevada Field.

Phil Breno (CHS) - #CLTvCHS, 8/8/20: Breno got down well to parry away a good header by the Charlotte Independence’s Aaron Maund to safety as part of a four-save performance in the 1-1 draw at the Sportsplex at Matthews.

Evan Louro (TBR) - #MIAvTBR, 8/7/20: Louro landed on SportsCenter’s Top 10 for his outstanding denial of a free kick by Miami’s Harrison Heath which kept the Rowdies on top in the second half of their victory at Riccado Silva Stadium.

Christian Herrera (TAC) - #RNOvTAC, 8/8/20: Herrera got both hands to a powerful finish by Reno’s Tucker Bone and managed to turn it off target late on in the Defiance’s visit to Greater Nevada Field.

CJ Cochran (OKC) - #OKCvSA, 8/8/20: Cochran reacted quickly to get in position after a turnover in Energy FC’s defensive end, and then went at full stretch to turn a shot by San Antonio’s Gonzalo Di Renzo around the right post at Taft Stadium.
