TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced on Monday that Reno 1868 FC goalkeeper Ben Beaury had earned the Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Month award for the month of July for his outstanding fingertip save against Sacramento Republic FC on July 19.

Beaury’s save on Jaime Villarreal’s long-range strike claimed 63 percent of the online poll conducted over the past weekend. Sporting Kansas City II’s Brooks Thomson finished second with 34 percent for his remarkable point-blank save to deny Indy Eleven’s Nick Moon on July 18.
