Some of the league’s top goalkeepers have shone so far this season, which save gets your vote?

With more than 30 shutouts and 400 saves in the opening weeks of the 2020 Championship season, some of the league’s top shot-stoppers and outstanding newcomers have made a stellar start to the campaign. We’ve selected five of the best saves across March and July, now you get to vote for the one that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Save of the Month award.

Voting will continue through 12 p.m. ET on Monday, August 10.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Month Finalists - July

Benjamin Lundt (LOU) - #NCvLOU, 3/7/20: Lundt made a sensational stop, trapping the ball on the underside of the crossbar and out to deny North Carolina FC’s Robbie Kristo from close range.

Sean Melvin (COS) - #COSvNM, 7/11/20: The Canadian shot-stopper made a fine one-handed save early in the second half against New Mexico United to deny a shot by Chris Wehan that was pegged for the top-right corner.

Ben Beaury (RNO) - #SACvRNO, 7/19/20: Making his first start for Reno, Beaury reacted quickly to tip a powerful shot from Sacramento Republic FC’s Jaime Villarreal over the crossbar at Papa Murphy’s Park.

Cody Mizell (NM) - #ELPvNM, 7/24/20: A near-post flick by El Paso Locomotive FC’s Yuma produced a fine save from Mizell as he helped New Mexico earn a big road victory at Southwest University Park.

Brooks Thompson (SKC) - #INDvSKC, 7/18/20: An Indiana native, the 18-year-old Thompson produced a dazzling save at point-blank range to deflect the ball onto the crossbar and deny Indy Eleven’s Nick Moon.
