Long-range strikes dominated proceedings in the opening weeks of the season, which one gets your vote?

There were almost 200 goals scored over the months of March and July in the Championship, including the first hat trick of the season by Phoenix Rising FC’s Rufat Dadashov and some breathtaking finishes from across the league. We’ve selected five of the best, now you get to vote for the goal that will earn the USL Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month award.

Voting will continue through 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, August 12

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month Finalists - July

Junior Burgos (LV) - #SDvLV, 3/7/20: Burgos’ tally was described by then-Head Coach Eric Wynalda as “one of the best goals I’ve ever seen in professional soccer,” picking out the top-left corner from 35 yards away.

Saalih Muhammad (NM) - #COSvNM, 7/11/20: Muhammad stunned everyone watching with a first-time volley from 35 yards off a looping rebound that will be on highlight reels for years to come.

Sonny Guadarrama (ATX) - #ATXvOKC, 7/17/20: Guadarrama controlled a chipped pass forward beautifully to set himself up for a first-time finish back across his body and into the bottom-right corner of the net against OKC.

Devon Sandoval (NM) - #ELPvNM, 7/24/20: The Albuquerque native showed off his quick feet, controlling a pass from Juan Guzman and with his second touch firing a low shot from 25 yards into the bottom-left corner of the net.

Taiberson (RGV) - #RGVvSA, 7/19/20: After ringing the post in the first half, Taiberson made no mistake with his second chance in second-half stoppage time with a beautiful finish from 20 yards into the top-left corner.
