CHESTER, Pa. – The Philadelphia Union II announced on Wednesday the club and Head Coach Sven Gartung have agreed to part ways. The interim head coach will be Philadelphia Union U-17 coach Marlon LeBlanc.
LeBlanc was previously the Head Coach of the University of West Virginia Men’s Soccer program, where he posted a record of 138-100-34 over 14 seasons. During that time he led the Mountaineers to the NCAA Tournament five times and won two conference championships.
The Philadelphia Union II’s next game will be this afternoon (5 p.m. ET) against New York Red Bulls II at Subaru Park.
