USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 5

Abraham Romero (LA) - #LAvSAC, 7/25/20: Romero went at full stretch to keep out a good header by Sacramento Republic FC’s Hayden Sargis that was headed for the left corner of the net as part of a five-save shutout.

Brandon Miller (CLT) - #MEMvCLT, 7/25/20: Miller showed off his reflexes to turn over a long-range blast from Memphis 901 FC’s Keanu Marsh-Brown in the first half at AutoZone Park.

Matt Van Oekel (BHM) - #BHMvTBR, 7/25/20: Van Oekel helped his side earn a point with a crucial save on a shot from distance by the Tampa Bay Rowdies’ Lewis Hilton, keeping the game level in the second half at BBVA Field.

Cody Mizell (NM) - #ATXvOKC, 7/24/20: A near-post flick by El Paso Locomotive FC’s Yuma produced a fine save from Mizell as he helped New Mexico earn a big road victory at Southwest University Park.

Paul Blanchette (RGV) - #OKCvRGV, 7/22/20: Blanchette just got enough of Jaime Chavez’s header for OKC Energy FC to tip the ball onto the crossbar and over in the Toros’ draw on the road at Taft Stadium.
