New Mexico United's Devon Sandoval has won the Championship Fans Choice Goal of the Week for Week 5 of the 2020 season as his finish against El Paso Locomotive FC claimed 42 percent of the online vote.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 5

Tyler Pasher (IND) - #PITvIND, 7/22/20: Deep in stoppage time, the league’s current leading scorer picked up possession near the halfway line and surged forward, beating two defenders before curling a finish from 25 yards into the top-left corner for the game-winning goal.

Mads Jørgensen (HFD) - #HFDvPHI, 7/25/20: The Danish midfielder unleashed another powerful long-distance drive with a vicious swerve to pull the Athletic level with the Union II just before halftime at Dillon Stadium.

Omar Sowe (NY) - #NYvPIT, 7/26/20: The Academy product produced an outstanding piece of control with his chest on a quick free kick to set up a left-footed lash into the net that pulled the Red Bulls II level with Pittsburgh at Red Bull Arena.

Devon Sandoval (NM) - #ELPvNM, 7/24/20: The Albuquerque native showed off his quick feet, controlling a pass from Juan Guzman and with his second touch firing a low shot from 25 yards into the bottom-left corner of the net.

Tyler Blackwood (STL) - #STLvIND, 7/26/20: Played in by a perfect pass with the outside of Wal Fall’s right boot, Blackwood broke into the left side of the penalty area and put home a precise finish just inside the right post at West Community Stadium.
