TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced Friday that the previously scheduled match between Portland Timbers 2 and Reno 1868 FC has been postponed. Originally scheduled for Sunday, July 26, the match has been rescheduled to Wednesday, July 29 at 10:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Proceeding with an abundance of caution, the postponement comes after a covered person in the Reno 1868 FC organization tested positive for COVID-19, as part of weekly routine testing.

The individual has been immediately isolated at home, demonstrating no symptoms, and in good spirits under the care of team physicians. All league, local and state health and wellness protocols are being followed.
