TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced Wednesday that the previously scheduled match between Reno 1868 FC and Tacoma Defiance has been postponed
Proceeding with an abundance of caution, the postponement comes after a covered person in the Reno 1868 FC organization tested positive for COVID-19, as part of weekly routine testing.
The individual has been immediately isolated at home, demonstrating no symptoms, and in good spirits under the care of team physicians. All league, local and state health and wellness protocols are being followed.
Reno and Tacoma’s game on October 3, previously scheduled to be played at Greater Nevada Field, will now be played in Tacoma. The two teams will meet in Reno on September 16.
