After a great weekend of soccer in Las Vegas, the Colorado Rush USL2 reported back to training as usual. The Rush take 4 points home from the trip with a tie against the hosts, Las Vegas Legends and a convincing 3-0 win over Sporting Arizona.

With such a long drive and two highly competitive matches, Coach Elliot Prost and Lewis Wilcox’s training lesson plan was lighter today to help the team regenerate. Although it was a lighter session, the coaching staff made sure to continue to help implement some small sided games along with some technical drills.

Ben Shepherd earned a class goal to his name against Sporting Arizona this weekend and was able to showcase a few more quality goals during today’s finishing drills. You can truly see the work from the training grounds translate to the pitch when game time comes, and Shepherd is one great example of that.
